Lot: 22

Description: 1.00 ct, Fancy Intense Pink, Modified pear brilliant-cut, SI1.  Rarity, GIA

Analysis: According to the image, the stone was polished as a  colorless diamond leaving a large dark bowtie in the centre of the diamond. The ratio of the stone is 1:1.39, an unconventional ratio for a pear-shaped diamond. The clarity of the diamond is SI1, mainly due to a large amount of inclusions situated under the table. the symmetry is Fair and the fluorescence is strong blue.

High Auction Estimation: $300,000 pc

Price Realized: $119,700 pc

Description: 10.05 ct, Fancy Yellow, radiant, SI1. Rarity, GIA

Analysis: According to the image, it seems like there is a prominent colorless frame around the table and a colorless patch in the culet. The SI1 is situated under the table.

Price Realized: $10,030 pc

Description: 2.02 ct, Fancy Intense Yellow, Radiant, VVS2. Rarity, GIA

Analysis: Two fancy intense yellow diamonds with matching dimensions. A prominent colorless frame is visible around the table.

High Auction Estimation: $8,621 pc

Price Realized: $9,932 pc

Description: 5.06 ct, Fancy Intense Yellow, Radiant, VS1.  Rarity, GIA

Analysis: A fancy intense yellow radiant cut diamond with a high level of dispersion and a very large face up in relation to its weight. According to the Diamond Diary, the outline of the shapes appears like a 5.66-5.79 carat Diamond.

Price Realized: $16,186 pc

Description: 1.08 ct, Fancy Intense Yellow, Radiant, VVS2. Rarity, GIA

Description: 1.06 ct, Fancy Intense Yellow, Radiant VS2. Rarity, GIA

Analysis: Two fancy intense yellow radiant cut diamonds. Analysing the image and the data on the report it appears that this diamond was re-cut from what used to be a round brilliant cut. The large colorless frame around the table is a result of this transformation.

Price Realized: $7,655 pc

Description: 10.10 ct, Fancy Yellow, Radiant, VVS1.  Rarity, GIA

Analysis: Fancy intense yellow radiant cut diamond with a colorless crown and a large face up in relation to its weight. According to the Diamond Diary, the outline of the shapes appears like a 11.43 – 11.67 carat Diamond.

High Auction Estimation: $6,931 pc

Price Realized: $12,476 pc

Description: 1.03 ct, Fancy Light Yellow-Green, Cushion modified brilliant-cut, VS1.  Rarity, GIA

Analysis: A 1.03 cushion fancy light green diamond with a yellow modifier. A large colorless frame is visible around the table. Fluorescent is strong blue.

High Auction Estimation: $7,767 pc

Price Realized: $9,175 pc

Description: 7.46 ct, Fancy Intense Yellow, Cushion modified brilliant-cut, IF. Rarity, GIA

Analysis: Looking at the picture, the diamond seems to be an old-mine cushion-shaped diamond. Color dispersion is at its lowest level which may leave room for improvement for those who seek to recut and improve certain diamonds.

Price Realized: $18,580 pc
