The Transformation of a 21.75ct Rough Diamond into a 10.73ct Fancy Vivid Orangy Yellow Gem

Burgundy owns and operates Australia’s only commercial diamond cutting, polishing, grading and sales facility, based in Perth where the focus is on polishing large white and fancy-coloured yellow diamonds sourced from the Ekati Mine. All our polished diamonds are issued with a BDM Diamond Report of Authenticity listing stone details as well as country and mine of origin.

The transformation of an exquisite 21.75ct rough diamond from the Misery Pipe, well known for producing rich vivid and intense yellow diamonds. After more than 50 hours of careful planning and polishing the stone was finished as a 10.73ct, Fancy Vivid Orangy Yellow, VVS1.
